Hello

  Hi I'm Sarah  As of this writing I am 36 years 2 months and 25 days old. In what seems as a not so long-ago time of 20 years ago I considered this to be an age that was so far off for me. People in their mid 30's seemed "old" to me, and I guess for a 15-year-old girl one could expect that. Thinking about my future just seemed so far off and a long time to wait, and yet here we are.  In just a few days we will be celebrating my oldest son's 18th birthday. If you're doing the math, I was 18 when I had him, and as bittersweet as this is, it is truly a full circle moment. He works, goes to school, and is working toward a career in the trades. He understands finances and has been saving since he was 12. He's built a good starter fund, as I call it. The type of fund you have designated as an "emergency" or "oh shit" fund. He has opted not to go to traditional college, and instead is learning to become an auto mechanic. His brother  is my ba
